Userlytics UX Consulting Services
Unsure where to begin with your usability study, short on time, or curious about how an external UX Research Consultant can help with your project? We can collaborate with you to create a tailored UX test plan, analysis, and report to improve your user experience. Our wide range of UX Consulting services can elevate your UX tests. They include:

Study Plan or Discussion Guide design

After a briefing with a UX Consultant to understand your goals, our UXC team will create a study plan, suggesting the best methodology to meet your research objectives. We will share a draft of the study plan or discussion guide for your feedback. Userlytics will then program the study plan on our platform and conduct an internal dry-run before launching the test.
Our UXC team can also review your study plan or discussion guide, providing you with an expert review and suggestions that can help you get the insights you need.
Moderation

For studies that need live probing, one of our UX Consultants can moderate on your behalf. The UX Consulting team will review the study details with you and conduct the interviews, where you can observe and interact with the moderator.
This service usually includes creating or reviewing the discussion guide and compiling a report.
Quant Report

A UX Consultant will review all collected data, identify key trends and insights, and prepare a report with detailed recommendations. Quant Reports are ideal for analyzing large groups of users or identifying general trends. Suitable for Quantitative studies only.
Standard Report

A UX Consultant will review all sessions and data, highlight key events and comments, insert hyperlinked annotations, create shareable highlight reels, and prepare a report with detailed recommendations. Standard Reports are suitable for moderated or unmoderated studies with a single group of users.
Booster Report

A booster report includes all elements of a standard report plus separate analyses for each segment (such as demographics, region, device) and a joint analysis. It is suitable for moderated or unmoderated studies with multiple segments, allowing for comparisons or distinctions between them.
Heuristic Analysis & Expert Review

A Userlytics UX Consultant will conduct a thorough review of your digital asset, which includes:
- An expert review: We will go through one or more user journeys to identify potential trouble spots.
- A heuristic evaluation: We will compare your asset’s design against ten heuristics, including consistency, minimalism, error prevention, and error recovery.
- A basic accessibility review: We will review your text and color combinations for accessibility.
We will then prepare a report with detailed findings and recommendations.
ULX® Benchmarking Score

The ULX ® Benchmarking Score measures 18 different user experience attributes across 8 key UX areas, offering a comprehensive view of the overall user experience. It helps track a digital asset’s user experience through detailed assessments, allowing for comparison over time and against competitors. When conducted in its full version, the study provides both quantitative metrics and qualitative insights, offering examples of why users provided their evaluations. Additionally, it delivers both immediately actionable recommendations and strategic research roadmaps. For ongoing trend monitoring, we recommend these studies be repeated quarterly.
User Insights Feedback

Get a transcription of key insights from user feedback in an Excel sheet, which details individual user responses, main insights, quotes, and average ratings for analysis. The sheet has columns for questions/tasks and rows for individual users. Each response is organized in its respective column, including main insights, notable quotes, and quantitative metrics like average ratings. This format allows clients to perform their own analysis without needing to clean or organize the data.
Competitive Analysis with Expert Review

Analyze competitors’ content strategies to identify gaps and opportunities. Determine the product’s UX position and suggest strategic improvements.
Advertising Campaigns

We conduct preference quantitative tests and moderated sessions to gather feedback on your advertising campaigns, measuring their effectiveness. This helps you understand how well your campaign resonates with your target audience and identifies areas for improvement.
UX Metrics & KPIs

Define key UX metrics and performance indicators to measure the success of UX initiatives. This is a collaborative process between UX researchers and your internal stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize key metrics. Discussions ensure that metrics align with user needs, business objectives, and industry best practices.
ULX SWOT Analysis

Conduct a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) from a UX perspective to inform strategic decisions. This analysis can be performed for up to three screens of the flow (e.g., homepage, product listing page, product detail page).
Quick Market Research Synthesis

Conduct a thorough review and synthesis of existing market research data to provide strategic insights and inform UX decisions. This involves analyzing market reports, consumer surveys, competitor analysis, and industry trends to distill key insights relevant to business objectives. The synthesized insights are strategic and actionable for UX decision-making.
Pricing Study

This study uses the Van Westendorp model to help estimate the optimal price point for any type of product or service. This is not limited to digital products because it can also help calculate the price for physical products, subscriptions, one-time purchases
In this quantitative study users are presented with the product/service description, an overview of the item, or the stimuli that best illustrates that product/service, and later they are asked to answer 4 questions regarding that product or service
The ideal sample for this would be over 100 users with no upper limit
The outcome of this study is to provide clients with the Optimal Price Point, the Point of Marginal Cheapness, the Point of Marginal Expensiveness and the Optimal Price Range
Long-Term Consultation

We assist in planning and executing your UX research strategy for the year. This includes designing a series of research plans tailored to your company’s goals, recommending studies to address key topics on your UX roadmap, and providing ongoing support.
You can choose to purchase just the annual plan design or include execution by our Userlytics UXC team. This service ensures a structured and strategic approach to enhancing your user experience over the long term.
Qualitative Packages

These packages include unmoderated sessions of up to 30 minutes each, a study plan, and a standard report. They provide a structured approach to qualitative research, allowing you to gather detailed insights from user interactions without needing live moderation.
Quantitative Packages

These packages focus solely on quantitative studies, providing statistical data and analysis to help you make informed decisions based on user behavior and preferences. They are limited to broad based participants.

Visual Mock-Ups of UI Tweaks

Our service provides quick, visual mock-ups of simple UI improvements, created directly on client-provided website screenshots. These enhancements — such as adjusting button placement, font size, spacing, or highlighting calls to action — are designed to address specific usability findings with small, high-impact changes. Delivered as a dedicated chapter within the final UX report, the mock-ups include edited static screenshots, clear explanations of the issues identified, the design recommendations, and the expected benefits. Each suggestion is presented as one possible approach and not a finalized UI design, with alternatives noted when relevant, so the choice remains yours.
Service can only be requested alongside a report (e.g. a standard report or Heuristic Analysis + Expert Review).
Low-Fidelity Wireframes of Pages or Flows (No UI)

We create black-and-white wireframes focused on structure, hierarchy, and content placement — not visual design — to illustrate layout, navigation, and content improvements based on user feedback. Delivered as an additional chapter in the final report, these static wireframes (with optional view-only Figma link) include clear explanations of the issue, our recommendation, and the expected benefit.
Service can only be requested alongside a report (e.g. a standard report or Heuristic Analysis + Expert Review).
Low-Fidelity Wireframes of Pages or Flows + Clickable Prototypes (No UI)

Black-and-white wireframes, which focus on structure, hierarchy, and content placement, plus interactive Figma protoypes, which go a step further by showing page transitions and user flow logic. This option makes it even easier to visualize proposed improvements before committing to high-fidelity design, allowing teams to validate ideas early and communicate changes clearly. Wireframes are ideal for illustrating structural adjustments in a simple, distraction-free format, while prototypes are best for experiencing redesigned flows in context and testing navigation or interaction patterns.
