About Debbie Levitt

"

Debbie Levitt is the CXO of Delta CX, where she works as a Customer and User Experience strategist, researcher, service designer, innovator, and change agent. With decades of experience in product, service, and experience strategy, she helps organizations reconnect with their target audiences and replace assumptions with evidence-based understanding.

Her work focuses on understanding what customers and users actually need, identifying the root causes behind business and experience problems, and developing strategies that can improve satisfaction, conversion, retention, and growth. Rather than treating symptoms with isolated design changes, Debbie emphasizes investigating the underlying problems and using research to guide better decisions.

At Delta CX, Debbie works across customer experience, user experience, service design, research, product strategy, business transformation, and innovation. The consultancy works with organizations to investigate problems, analyze evidence, develop strategies, design solutions, and support implementation and measurement.

Debbie’s approach is strongly research-driven. She advocates for replacing opinions, guesses, and assumptions with evidence and knowledge, while helping leaders and teams develop a shared understanding of their target audiences, competitors, internal processes, and business challenges.

She has extensive experience helping organizations connect customer and user understanding to product-market fit. Her work focuses on identifying what is preventing products and services from succeeding and developing practical strategies that address customer needs while supporting organizational goals.

Debbie is also an author and educator. Her books include Customers Know You Suck, Life After Tech, and Atomic Product-Market Fit, her latest book published in February 2026. Customers Know You Suck presents practical approaches for understanding customers, identifying problems that affect customer experience, and using evidence to improve satisfaction, conversion, and loyalty.

Her 2026 book, Atomic Product-Market Fit, focuses on product-market fit and the research, strategy, and critical thinking needed to understand whether products are solving meaningful problems for the people they are intended to serve. Debbie also offers courses, workshops, corporate training, and coaching focused on research, strategy, AI, conversion, retention, growth, and product-market fit.

Debbie is particularly active in conversations about AI and research. She explores how AI can support researchers and product teams while emphasizing the importance of maintaining research quality, critical thinking, evidence, and human judgment. Her work examines how organizations can use AI effectively without allowing automation to replace genuine understanding of customers and users.

She is also a prolific content creator and educator, producing articles, videos, courses, workshops, and other resources around CX, UX, product strategy, research, service design, and business transformation. Delta CX maintains an extensive video presence through its Delta CX and Delta CX Hive channels.

Through her work as a strategist, researcher, service designer, author, educator, and change agent, Debbie brings a strong focus on connecting customer understanding with business outcomes. Her perspective emphasizes finding the real problem, gathering meaningful evidence, and creating products and services based on what organizations can genuinely learn from their audiences."
